About the Challenge

Organized by Dinat in collaboration with Elisava, the Nomad Challenge was a design competition focused on creating a product for the modern nomad—a person who works remotely, travels frequently, and needs adaptable solutions for their lifestyle.

The challenge required us to design a product made entirely from cardboard, exploring the material’s versatility while addressing the unique needs of a constantly moving user. Over the course of three months, we researched, prototyped, and refined their concepts to develop innovative and functional solutions for this dynamic way of living.

Brief description

Paw-pack reimagines the way we travel with our pets—blending sustainability, portability, and comfort into one seamless design. It’s not just a product; it’s a promise to our pets that they can journey with us in the lap of comfort, wherever our wanderlust leads us.

The Process

Over three months, I explored material properties, user needs, and portability solutions to create a durable yet foldable pet bed. The final design balances comfort, practicality, and eco-consciousness, aligning with the values of both nomadic users and pet owners.

How to Use

To deploy the bed, simply unfurl it into a circular shape. Ingeniously integrated magnets within the final cardboard segments seamlessly snap together, forming a sturdy and elegant structure.
